My name is Amy Ferreira. I'm from Toronto and I'm mother to 5 boys ages 22,18,17,16, and 14. I have also been caregiver to a live-in elderly gentleman for the past 18 years. He has become a part of our family and made the move to the big city with us six years ago.

      I recently became Gramma to Hailey Ann and Taylor May ...and it was through missing them so much that I found reborning!   I was browsing through Ebay and came upon the work of some amazing reborn artists…well, I was hooked... and have been reborning since 2005.

      In January 2007, I was lucky enough to take a sculpting course with Laura Tuzio Ross at Idex, and absolutely loved it! I have continued sculpting and recently studied under the very talented Jack Johnston in Chicago, and achieved my Master Doll Maker Certification from Mr. Johnston and the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild in January.

     My first Vinyl Kit, Kailey, was released in November 2007 by Irresistables and Reborn Doll Kits. I have had the pleasure of showing my sculpts with the Canadian Doll Artists association in 2007 here in Toronto  and at Idex Orlando January 2008. I have also been invited to exhibit at The Brick Lane Gallery in London England in the coming year and my work can also be seen at the Saatchi Gallery online .

     I'm very excited to be starting some new ventures this year to be able to share more of my work with reborners and collectors. Come back often for the latest updates!
